Departmental Receptions
Can my guests come to my Departmental Reception?
Guests with tickets to attend the Graduation ceremony will
be able to join you at your departmental reception. Light refreshments
(drinks and canapés) are included in the price of their ticket. Unfortunately, it is not
possible to buy ‘reception only’ tickets for additional guests.
What happens at my Departmental
Reception?
The receptions provide an
opportunity for you to celebrate you degree with staff from the
department and fellow students. Prizes are often handed out at
receptions and some departments organise department photos. Each
reception is 1.5 hours.
Information on Receptions
If you and your guests decide to visit the University's
catering outlets,
please note that refreshments are not included in the price of your
Graduation Ceremony ticket.
Information on departmental
receptions will become available in June 2012.
