The logo can be used most pages, with certain restrictions. In particular, it cannot be used on the privatewww web server. Please read this document before using the logo.
The Computing Service has set up an anonymous FTP server for staff use. If you are a member of staff who wishes to publish information using this mechanism, you should email alan@essex.ac.uk. You will then be assigned a directory on the server over which you have control. The server is accessible as ftp.essex.ac.uk. Of course, a far easier way to publish online information is via the World Wide Web.
