The Computing Service provides a number of PC laboratories for use by staff and students. These labs are primarily intended for study or work related tasks.
Many of the labs are used for teaching purposes. These labs have a copy of a timetable posted on or near the door showing the expected teaching use (this may change at short notice). If asked by a teacher you should vacate a lab to allow a lesson to take place.
| Before you use any of the facilities in the open access laboratories... |
You should check the regulations regarding the
use of computing facilities and the additional
guidelines that specifically cover
the use of the these laboratories.
Note that by logging onto any open access machine you are agreeing to obey the terms and
conditions for using University of Essex computing facilities. Failure to
have read these conditions will not
be taken as an excuse for breaching any regulations.
