All University users are entitled to make use of Information Systems Services (ISS) printing facilities. Printer output which is sent to ISS printers must be paid for in advance. This means that you must have credit in your account before your job can be printed. The print job will be automatically billed to your account and printing will be disabled when your account is in debt.
Buy printing credit on-line and get 5%

For example, buy printing credit to the value of £5.00 and your printing
account will be credited with £5.25, (that's 5 extra pages for free when you
print to an ISS lab printer).
Essex users can purchase printing credit on-line with a credit or debit card using secure web pages. This is a 24-hour available system, and allows users to purchase print credit in all whole-pound values between £2 and £20. Purchasing print credit in this method will automatically update your printing account with the amount purchased. You can check your currently available print credit by logging into the "MyLife" section of the MyEssex Portal.
Another way to ensure that you are able to print, you can purchase a £5 or £10 voucher from the IT Help Desk (Colchester), Student Union shop (Colchester), Student Union Southend (Term time only) or ground floor reception in the Gateway building (Southend). Unfortunately vouchers cannot be purchased at East 15 campus, please purchase credit on-line.
