Can I print from my iOS device to the ISS lab printers? (iPad / iPhone / iTouch)

Yes, but there are a couple of pre-requisites -

You need to connect your iPad / iPhone / iTouch device to our Eduroam wireless network. Please click here for instructions on doing this.
Once connected to Eduroam, on your iPad / iPhone / iTouch navigate to this web page http://papercut.essex.ac.uk:9191/ipad/install and follow the instructions below to install the PaperCut software. This software is required to allow your device to access your printing account.

Visit http://papercut.essex.ac.uk:9191/ipad/install on your device	Click the 'Install' button
Click the 'Install Now' button	If your device has a passcode you may be asked to enter it
Click 'Done'	You will then find the PaperCut application on your device, click it
Log in using your username and password	You printing balance and any recent print jobs will be displayed

You will now be able to print from any of your devices applications that supports printing. You need to have the PaperCut application running before you can print but you should only have to log into it once.

What printers can I print too?

You can print to any of the ISS lab printers at Colchester, Southend and East15.

Does it cost the same?

Yes, it costs exactly the same as printing from a PC in a lab.

Can I print from my laptop or Android device?

Yes, using our 'Web print' service. On your device, navigate too https://papercut.essex.ac.uk/app, log in and select 'web print' from the link on the left hand side. Follow the instructions.
