This guide is for Windows Mobile devices running Windows Mobile 6.0 and above. Devices running older versions of Windows Mobile may not work correctly.
Locate the Settings for your Windows Mobile device, this is usually accessible via the Start button. Once it has opened, click the 'Connections' tab and then click 'Wireless LAN'.

If Wireless LAN isn't enabled, your device will ask you to turn Wireless LAN
on.

Once Wireless LAN is on, your device will look similar to the screen below.
Click 'Change Network'.

A list of available networks will appear. Highlight 'eduroam' from the list,
and click 'Connect'.

Your device will ask you to configure the Wireless Network, make sure your
settings are the same in the screen below, and then click 'Next'.

Your device will continue to ask you to configure the Wireless Network, make
sure your settings are the same in the screen below, and then click 'Next'.

Once you have finished the configuration, the device will try to connect to
the Wireless LAN.

Enter your current University login and password as shown. If connecting from
another University, use the appropriate domain after the '@' instead of '@essex.ac.uk'.

Your device will return to the Wireless LAN screen and report that it is
connecting to the eduroam service.

After a few moments, your device will report that it is now connected to the
eduroam service.
