Records Management

The University is committed to managing effectively and openly all its academic and non-academic records. A central, University-wide focus is provided by the University Records Manager, who is also responsible for data protection and freedom of information compliance.

On these pages, you will find information on all aspects of the University’s records management activity, including advice and guidance on your rights and responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 and Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please note that the Records Management Office is not responsible for the provision of duplicate degree certificates, proof of graduation, or other student information services. For these, please contact the Graduation Office, Registry or The Graduate School.
