Student Support is a
confidential service providing
advice, guidance and information on many issues to
University of Essex students and guidance on student support issues to
staff.
The Student Support web pages offer various sources of advice,
including information on the network of services available. Most of
the common issues affecting students studying or planning to study at
the University of Essex are covered. Much of the information will be
useful whichever campus you are based at, however, you will need to
contact your local Student Support
service for campus specific guidance.

At the Colchester campus the Student Support Office is divided into two teams, The Advice Team
give information, guidance and advice on issues such as immigration,
debt, health and funding; The Disability Team provides
information, advice and guidance on issues relating to disability and
specific learning difficulties including dyslexia and mental health;
caseworkers from the team are assigned to students who have declared a
disability to the university. We value feedback about the
service provided by the Student Support Office, Colchester campus. Please complete our
online questionnaire.
At the Loughton and Southend campus there is a range of
support services including Student Support. For more information
