Extra Funding for Disabled Students
Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)
If you have a disability (and you are eligible for student finance
as a UK student) you can apply for help with the extra
costs you may incur as a result of attending your course and as a
direct result of your disability.
The allowance can help with the cost
of a non-medical helper, major items of specialist equipment
and other costs. The DSA is for full-time and part-time undergraduates
and postgraduates and there are no age restrictions.
If you are funded by Student Finance
England, forms for DSA and information are available at

not eligible to apply. If this applies to you, you should
